History
1930: KCLS bookmobile serves a Linwood Heights farmers market
1949: Bookmobile stops added in central Kenmore and at a Moorlands grocery store
1956: KCLS agrees to provide library services if the community provides a facility
1958: Library opens in a remodeled barn on 73rd Avenue NE, purchased with funds raised by Kenmore’s Elementary PTA and Library Association
1961: Completion of 400-square-foot children’s area expansion
1976: Library opens in a new, 2,112-square-foot government complex
1999: KCLS annexation
2011: Opening of new, 10,000-square-foot library
2012: Awarded: AIA Washington Council, Civic Design Honor

What is a QR Code? How do I use it?
A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that can be read by smartphones. The barcode will take you to a webpage that will display your next clue for the Pot O’Gold Scavenger Hunt. Most smartphones come equipped with the ability to read QR codes, or free apps can be downloaded from your cell phone provider’s App Store.
