Keeping it local with community-focused toy stores dedicated to fun and learning for all ages!
Seattle-area Snapdoodle Toys & Games in Kenmore, Redmond, Issaquah and Seattle are owned and operated by the Pickering family.
A message from Rob and Cherry:
We both enjoyed visiting specialty toy stores throughout our many travels with our two children, Ellie and Ethan. As the kids were growing up and seemed to be attending near constant birthday parties, we were grateful to have had a local toy store nearby in the Lake Forest Park area that offered quality products for fun and learning, as well as complimentary gift wrapping.
When that store unfortunately closed, we wanted to fill the void and continue to provide the same quality products and customer service to the local community that we experienced with our kids.
We found an ideal space in the Schnitzelbank Building, a Kenmore-area landmark. Long-time Seattle residents may remember the Bavarian-style Schnitzelbank Restaurant owned by Bobby & Hildegard McKissen that operated in the space from 1961-1997.
In 2008, we hit the ground running as Snapdoodle Toys in the Schnitzelbank Building. Above us you’ll find Kenmore Violins which makes, restores and repairs violins, of course!
Then in 2011, we had the opportunity to purchase Tree Top Toys in Redmond and named it as a second location for Snapdoodle Toys.
In May 2018, we were thrilled to acquire Top Ten Toys – a big, beloved toy store that has been serving the Greenwood neighborhood of North Seattle for over 30 years. The previous owner retired and Top Ten was a perfect location and fit for us. In September 2019, we officially changed the name of Top Ten Toys to Snapdoodle Toys – Seattle.
An opportunity to expand our family of fun suddenly arose and we opened our fourth store in the Issaquah Highlands in September 2019.
We offer customers a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience at all four locations with great selections, personal service, complimentary gift wrapping – all in a fun, festive atmosphere. Plus you’ll enjoy a variety of play stations, product demonstrations, in-store activities, events, classes for kids and adults, and more.
Thanks for playing with us into our corner of Washington state, we hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Rob and Cherry Pickering

What is a QR Code? How do I use it?
A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that can be read by smartphones. The barcode will take you to a webpage that will display your next clue for the Pot O’Gold Scavenger Hunt. Most smartphones come equipped with the ability to read QR codes, or free apps can be downloaded from your cell phone provider’s App Store.
QR Codes for IOS/Apple Devices:
Quickly add a QR Code reader shortcut to your phone’s control center (the menu that appears when you ‘swipe up’) by visiting Settings → Control Center → Customize Controls →Add QR Code Reader.
