The Kenmore Inn staff stands ready to offer oysters and Sunday dining in March 1935. The cafe opened in the early 1930s at 63rd Avenue NE and Bothell Way, giving way to the Chowder Bowl in 1941. The site later became the home of a travel agency.

I will check around in my old albums. I am the Granddaughter of Fred Strang sr who owned and operated the Eagle Inn. We passed a lot of hours doing homework in the back booths while my parents and grandparents worked. First was Claire Strang, my Grandmother than after she passed from cancer, Grandpa remarried Avis, ,I remember Edie playing the organ, she was an inspiration for me to take piano and organ lessons.
